Thirty-seven per cent of respondents to an Internet-based survey conducted by COMPAS Inc. for the Financial Post said they were undecided as to whether there is sufficient evidence global warming is man-made or if it is happening atย all.
About 53 per cent were divided evenly between those who think the UN panel is correct about climate change, and those who believe the Exxon-funded Fraser Institute report refutingย it.
โThese people didn’t get to where they are by being gullible, they need demonstrable evidence,โ said Conrad Winn, founder and chief executive of COMPAS. โThey are not saying that climate change is implausible. They are saying that they are questioning the evidence from the UNย panel.โ
