Republishing Guidelines, for Print and Online

Republishing Guidelines, for Print and Online
on

If you wish to republish one of our stories, please abide by the following republishing guidelines:

You may not edit our material without our express written permission, except to reflect relative changes in time and location.

You must credit our authors in the byline. You must also credit DeSmog and include a link back to either our home page or the article URL . Our preference is a credit for both the author and DeSmog at the top of the article.

You may not republish any images or illustrations in our articles unless you have Creative Commons access to them. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]

You may not sell our material separately, but it’s okay to put our articles on pages with ads.

You may not systematically republish all of our articles.

DeSmog is a member of Covering Climate Now and abides by these separate guidelines when sharing work by others in the Covering Climate Now network.

Not all of DeSmog’s content is available under this republishing agreement. Please check if there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the article before republishing and observe any and all limitations provided there.

While our stories are available for republishing by others, DeSmog does not represent the views of these sites nor do we have control over these other sites or their content.

DeSmog reserves the right to demand removal of content republished by any external outlet.
