Climate change skeptics take the one-two punch

While climate change skeptics continue to bury their collectiveย heads in the sand (oil sand that is), researchers at NASA‘s Goddard Space Flight Centre are reporting what they describe as โ€œโ€ฆ the strongest evidence of global warming in the Arctic soย far.โ€

The reduction of glaciers in the summer months has been well established in the scientific literature, but this new study finds that a similar reduction is also occuring in theย winter.ย

Will be interesting toย see what strange and wonderful โ€œjunk scienceโ€ the climate change skeptics willย pull out of theirย hat on this one. Couple this Arctic winter ice study with yesterday’s widely reported scientific findings that that variability in the energy of the sun is unlikely a contributing factor in theย current global warming, and it is a wonder how much longer โ€œskepticโ€ย scientists like Tim Ball and Pat Micheals can go on preaching their fringe science, oil industry friendly,ย gospel.
