As the Supreme Court global warming case enters its second full day, the circus act on the administrative side of the floor continues. Today, first admitting that he had limited knowledge of climate science, Deputy Solicitor General Gregory Garre then proceeds to state that there is a โlikely connectionโ between greenhouse gases and global warming but that โit cannot unequivocallyย established.โ
As our friends at ThinkProgress point out โThere is no doubt among the experts. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a body which involves thousands of scientists from over 120 countries who develop detailed reports on climate change, produced a report in 2001 which was reviewed by more than 1,000 top experts, including so-called โclimate skepticsโ and representatives fromย industry.โ
