Eli Rabett, with support from Tim Lambert at Deltoid, is calling for nominations for the S. Fred Award for goofy theories that muddle up climate science. He has started with:

Diplom Beck proving CO2 concentrations over smokestacks in the 1940s were higher than they are today globally.
Willis Eschenbach and the moving line
Monckton of Blenchley whose climate analysis has now found its home in a flying saucer mag.

This is sure to be hotly contested and worth watching.
