With the first in a series of scientific reports set to be released later next week, R.K. Pachauri, the chairman of the UN‘s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that the findings of the report will be “far more serious and much more a matter of concern.”

Pachauri hopes that “this report will shock people, governments into taking more serious action as you really can’t get a more credible piece of scientific work.”
