Gudda, a small village in India received its first encounter with light after sunset with the arrival of solar panels. Solar powered batteries have enabled them to study later for school, do more business and play music.

Thanks to a organization called ‘Barefoot College’, an outfit started to help India’s rural population develop their own solutions to problems and who’s campus is powered by solar energy, Gudda resident Ram brought the technology to his village which now sees almost every household rooftop supporting solar panels.
