I am doing some research today in the Tobacco Documents on the major tobacco front group, The Advancement of Sound Science Coalition (TASSC), which is a big focus of Jim Hogganโ€™s book, Climate Coverย Up.

I came across a 1994 column written by right-wing blogger and Bill Oโ€Reilly wanna-be, Michelle Malkin, back when she worked for the Los Angeles Dailyย News.

It literally reads like a membership recruitment letter for Big Tobaccoโ€™s main front group. Sheย writes:

โ€œSo before purchasing some environmentally correct product from the Body Shop, why not pick upo Dixy Lee Rayโ€™s โ€œTrashing the Planet?โ€ Or how about signing up for a free membership to TASSC?โ€
