We recently developed another way for you to get news from DeSmogBlog. It’s a widget (or, if you’re on Windows Vista, a gadget).

What’s a widget? In a nutshell, it’s a little program that sits on your Apple OS X or Windows Vista desktop and does something neat. There are widgets and gadgets for nearly everything, and now there’s one for DeSmogBlogย lovers.

Our widget displays current DeSmogBlog news. Plus, it’s got a counter that shows the planet’s estimated accumulated carbon footprint since January 1,ย 2007.

Visit our widget page for more information and to download ourย widget/gadget.ย
