California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has complained about the US Government’s environmental policy in a letter sent to President George W. Bush, The Los Angeles Times reports. The Hollywood action hero and Republican politician criticised the “lack of a coherent federal policy” to stop global warming in the letter to Mr Bush, further distancing himself from the Republican leadership ahead of November 7 polls.
Yet the oil and gas major led a campaign to present gas as a climate solution, new ‘confidential’ documents released by a U.S. Congressional investigation reveal.
Campaigners have referred the Epoch Times to the UK advertising regulator for “stoking the climate culture war” on social media.
