Minnesota GOP, a hot-bed for climate change skeptics

Last week we posted a video of Minnesota GOP candidate, Michele Bachmann making her comedic debut as a climate change โ€œskeptic.โ€ Now less than a week later we have found footage of another Republican candidate in Minnesota, Bill Cullen, going on about โ€œsunspotsโ€ and โ€œglobal cooling.โ€

I don’t know if this is a case of two election candidates singing from the same song sheet, or an overzealous โ€œyoutuberโ€ trying to make a point. Or maybe, just maybe, it is something in the GOP kool-aid.

If anyone out there knows Cullen or Bachmann, maybe you could pass along this piece on sunspots and this piece on global cooling written by our friends at realclimate.org, a commentary site run by actual, real live climate scientists.
