Hazel is DeSmog’s UK Editor-in-Chief. She is also a freelance writer and broadcaster specializing in stories about food justice, climate, and migration. Her work has appeared on BBC radio, in The Guardian, New Internationalist, and the LA Times. She joined DeSmog in February 2022.

Geoff Dembicki is an award-winning investigative reporter and author. His 2022 book,ย The Petroleum Papers, based in part on reporting for Desmog, was named a best book of the year by The Washington Post. He has been DeSmog’s global managing editor since 2024.

Phoebe leads investigations on European politics, food and farming, and occasionally dips into other subjects too.
