With the first in a series of scientific reports set to be released later next week, R.K. Pachauri, the chairman of the UN‘s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that the findings of the report will be โ€œfar more serious and much more a matter ofย concern.โ€

Pachauri hopes that โ€œthis report will shock people, governments into taking more serious action as you really can’t get a more credible piece of scientificย work.โ€
