Next 15 had planned to submit its emissions reduction targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)—a corporate climate action organization that provides standards, tools, and guidance to help companies set greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets to reach net-zero by 2050—at the start of its 2025 financial year. However, the company missed its self-imposed deadline, citing “significant changes” that prevented it from establishing a suitable emissions baseline.
