Maximiliano Manzoni is an Uruguayan climate journalist based in Paraguay. He is director of Consenso, an award-winning newsletter on climate, justice and disinformation in South America. His investigative work on topics such as the agribusiness lobby and carbon markets was recognized with the Paraguayan National Prize on Science Journalism (2024) and Covering Climate Awards’ Emerging Journalist of the Year (2025). Before, as part of El Surtidor, he also won the Premio Gabo (2018).
