Santi Donaire is a documentary photographer and journalist based in Seville, Spain. Throughout his career, he has worked with both national and international publications such as National Geographic, El País, and The New York Times, and spent over six years at Agencia EFE as a photojournalist in Caracas, Venezuela, and later in Madrid.

Currently, he focuses on long-term documentary projects within Spain, combining photography and video to explore cross-cutting issues that shape the country’s past, present, and future, such as democratic memory, climate change, and human rights advocacy. He combines his journalistic work with teaching, consulting, editing, and lecturing.
