Call it โ€œGeo-blogging,โ€ if you’dย like.

Here’s an interactive Google Map we’ve started to keep track of the PR, advertising and lobbying efforts being undertaken by โ€œAmericans for Balanced Energy Choices,โ€ (ABEC) as they spend a reported $40 million on behalf of the coal industry to sell the virtues of โ€œclean coalโ€ in the run-up to the 2008 Presidentialย election.

If you would like to contribute to the map or have information on ABEC activities in your region, please drop us an email at: desmogblog [at] gmail.com and we’ll add yourย entry.
